All beef burgers are hand made in house to our own recipe using the finest quality ground beef. All served on a toasted brioche bun with tomato and lettuce, accompanied by coleslaw and chips.

Pan roasted cod fillet served with crushed new potatoes, grilled asparagus tips and salsa verde.
Oven roasted 8oZ rump of lamb with peas, broad beans, shallot puree and roasted jersey royals, finished with a lamb jus and a mint sauce.
Slow roasted belly of pork with crispy black pudding, roasted rhubarb, wilted spinach and fondant potatoes, finished with a pork jus.
Roasted spatchcock poussin served on a warm salad of potato, fennel, pancetta and watercress.
Whole rack of BBQ pork ribs, served with chips, coleslaw, rocket and watercress salad, and our own BBQ sauce.
Beer battered cod fillet, served with chips, a choice of garden or mushy peas and freshly made tartar sauce .

​OUR FOOD
We serve traditional fresh British pub food. Where possible we use local produce and our chef makes sure that our daily specials are of the highest quality and are relative to the season.

On a typical day, there is a choice of handmade pies, burgers and other pub classics as well as warm baguettes with a range of fillings, oven baked Camembert and a selection of homemade desserts. As from May Bank Holiday weekend, our picnic on the heath menus will be available. This will consist of a basket, a blanket and tasty meal for 2 to 4 people. We also cater for private parties and functions and can do any buffet to suit any pocket.

Every Sunday, in addition to our normal menu, we do a full traditional roast comprising of slow roasted beef or lamb, goose fat roast potatoes (or butter roasted potatoes for vegetarians), creamy mash, seasonal vegetables, our superb homemade Yorkshire puddings and thick gravy. For vegetarians we offer a lovely Portobello mushroom stuffed with red onions, wilted spinach and goats cheese with a balsamic glaze.
